ADMISSIONS

Concept Care prefer planned admissions. We recognise the need for emergency placements and these can be facilitated with a 24-hour service 7 days a week. This can be offered on the basis that full information will be forthcoming within 72 hours. In these circumstances we still aim to provide a longer-term placement so as to minimise the upheaval in a young person’s life.

We therefore welcome both types of admission.

We have had considerable success with boys who have presented other units with challenges such as persistent absconding, delinquency and anti-social behaviour.

We are able to provide assessment reports comprising of educational, social, psychological and psychiatric profiles if required.
